Mo Czubba They/TheM

Mo is a graduate student at Salisbury University in the final year of their MSW with a specialization in Social Change and Leadership. They're currently interning at the Field Office for the university, developing written material and program proposals, among other projects. At NAT20, Mo facilitates therapeutically-applied tabletop role-playing games and acts as a researcher, writer, and presenter for the organization at various conventions and events. Mo is passionate about human rights policy advocacy and community organizing.

They also hold a seat on their local Citizens Advisory Committee for the AACPS Board of Education as the Policy Representative. They hope to leverage their education and experience to advocate for meaningful legislative progress for social welfare programs at the State and Federal level. In their free time, Mo writes essays and zines on their Substack that focus on public education around government functions and civic engagement, as well as lessons to be learned from popular media regarding social commentary and revolutionary change.

“I strive to integrate a holistic approach that considers the broader social and cultural contexts of our lives. My practices prioritize equity and human rights, with a focus on understanding the impact of societal systems on personal well-being. I aim to create a supportive space where clients can explore their experiences in a way that fosters empowerment and growth, while also recognizing the need for broader social change. My values are shaped by a commitment to social justice, ensuring that therapy is not just about individual healing, but also about navigating and challenging larger systems of power and inequality.”
